URVI - MUKHRIT HUI HAR DEEWAR

 

In the beginning of the year 2023, a remarkable project named 'Urvi Mukhrit Deewaren: took shape, igniting a colourful transformation across the streets of India. This endeavour, carried out under the umbrella of C20 (Civil 20) under India’s leadership of G20, brought together multiple talented girls (members of Akhil Bhartiya Kanya mandal) from different regions of the country under the aegis of ABTMM.

The project was curated by the dynamic National President Mrs. Neelam Sethia envisaging a broader vision of the environment protection under C20 Civil Society Group and blending it artistic showcase of talent of girls, thereby beautifying the street walls alongwith the strong eloquent message on greener India. 

The task curated by Mrs. Neelam Sethia was to paint vibrant and meaningful murals on the walls of their respective areas, conveying the vital message of #lifestyleforevinronment (LiFE). This creative initiative not only beautified the urban landscapes but also inspired a sense of environmental responsibility among citizens. The project garnered immense appreciation from various government officials, marking a significant step towards a cleaner and greener environment.

 

The Confluence of Art and Message: 'Urvi Mukhrit Deewaren’ symbolises the fusion of art and activism. The participating girls, through their vivid paintings, communicated the importance of cleanliness, sustainability, and a green environment. Each mural told a unique story, reflecting the local culture, flora and fauna while emphasising the global need to adopt eco-friendly and sustainable practices.

 

A Nationwide Collaborative Effort: Spanning across diverse states and regions of India, 'Urvi Mukhrit Diware' united young artists in a common cause. This project saw participation from almost 60 regions of India. The project spread like a wave, leaving a trail of thought-provoking visuals in its wake. The project's reach was amplified through social media, where photos and videos of the artworks garnered widespread attention, inspiring more individuals to join the movement.

 

Impact on Communities: The murals transformed public spaces into open-air galleries, inviting passersby to pause, reflect, and engage with the message. These artistic interventions not only beautified the surroundings but also fostered a sense of ownership and pride among the local communities.
